The payment options available for your order are always shown on the checkout page, before you confirm anything. We only show options that are switched on and working for your order, and we never list a payment method on this site that you cannot actually use.
\n
\n
Payments at a glance
\n
\n
Where to see your options: on the checkout page, after you enter your address and before you pay.
\n
Currency: all prices and charges are in US dollars (USD).
\n
When you are charged: when you place your order. Nothing is printed until a payment succeeds.
\n
Security: payment details are entered into the payment provider’s secure form; we never see or store full card numbers.
\n
Shipping: free to the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, so the total at checkout is the item total plus any tax that applies.
\n
Refunds: approved refunds go back to the original payment method within 7 days.
\n
\n
\n
1. How to see the payment options for your order
\n
Add your items to the cart, select Checkout, then enter your email address and shipping address. The payment section at the bottom of the checkout page lists every payment option currently available for your order, with a short description of each. Choose one, review the order summary and place your order. The summary shows each item with its size, colour and any personalization text, the free shipping line and the final total, so you can check everything one last time.
\n
The options can depend on your country and on the payment provider’s own rules, so the list you see is the authoritative one for your order. We deliberately do not show card brand or wallet logos anywhere else on the site, because a logo on a footer is not a promise you can rely on; what you see at checkout is.
\n
If the payment section does not show any option you are able to use, please do not try workarounds such as sending money by email or bank transfer. Email support@teewillow.com instead and tell us which country you are in. We will look into it and reply within 1 business day.
\n
2. Payments we never accept
\n
To keep you safe from scams, Tee Willow does not accept payment by email, by text message, by phone, in cash, in gift cards or by direct bank transfer outside the checkout page. Nobody from Tee Willow will ever ask you to pay that way. If you receive an invoice or a payment request that claims to come from us but did not come from our checkout, do not pay it, and forward it to support@teewillow.com.
\n
3. Currency and what your bank may add
\n
Every price on teewillow.com is shown in US dollars, and every order is charged in US dollars. If your card or account uses another currency, such as Canadian, Australian or New Zealand dollars, your bank converts the charge at its own exchange rate. Some banks also add a foreign transaction fee. Those conversion rates and fees are set by your bank, not by Tee Willow, and they do not appear in our checkout total.
\n
Tip for customers in Canada, Australia and New Zealand: if you are not sure how your bank treats US-dollar purchases, check your card’s terms or use a card without foreign transaction fees.
\n
4. When you are charged
\n
Your payment is taken when you place your order and the payment provider confirms it. Because every Tee Willow item is printed for you, we only send an order to print after the payment succeeds. If the payment fails, no order is created and nothing is printed.
\n
If you cancel within 24 hours of ordering and before printing starts, or if we have to cancel an item ourselves, we refund the relevant amount to your original payment method within 7 days of confirming the cancellation. See Cancel or Change an Order.
\n
5. How your payment details are protected
\n
The whole site uses an encrypted HTTPS connection; you can check the padlock in your browser’s address bar. Card and account details are entered directly into the payment provider’s secure systems, which are certified to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). Your full card number and security code never pass through or get stored on our servers. We receive only what we need to manage your order, such as confirmation that the payment succeeded and, for cards, the card type and last four digits.
\n
Some payments may ask you to confirm the purchase with your bank, for example through a one-time code or a banking app. That extra step, often called 3-D Secure, is run by your card issuer to protect you. Complete it in the window that appears, and do not close the checkout page until the confirmation returns.
\n
6. If your payment is declined
\n
A payment can be declined for several ordinary reasons:
\n
\n
the billing address or postcode does not match the one your bank holds;
\n
the card has expired, or a digit was mistyped;
\n
there are not enough funds or credit available;
\n
your bank flagged the purchase as unusual, which is common for a first international purchase in US dollars;
\n
the bank’s confirmation step timed out.
\n
\n
Check your details and try again, try another payment option shown at checkout, or call the number on the back of your card to ask your bank to approve the purchase. Because a declined payment creates no order, you will not be charged twice by trying again. Some banks show a temporary “pending” amount for a declined attempt; it disappears on its own, usually within a few business days, and is never collected.
\n
7. Duplicate or unexpected charges
\n
If you believe you have been charged twice for the same order, or you see a charge you do not recognise, email us with the order number if you have one, the amount, the date and the last four digits of the card. We check our records and the payment provider’s records, and if a duplicate was collected, we refund it within 7 days. Please contact us before opening a dispute with your bank; we can usually fix a genuine duplicate faster, and contacting us never affects your rights with your bank.
\n
8. Order verification and fraud prevention
\n
To protect our customers from stolen cards, we or the payment provider may occasionally ask you to verify an order before it is printed, for example by confirming the billing postcode or replying from the email used at checkout. We will never ask you for your full card number, security code or online banking password. If we cannot verify a payment, we cancel the order and refund it in full.
\n
9. Saved payment details
\n
Tee Willow does not keep a copy of your card on our servers. If a payment provider offers to remember your details for faster checkout, that option is run and stored by the provider under its own terms, and you can remove it in your account with that provider. Signing in to a Tee Willow account saves your addresses and order history, not your card.
\n
10. Taxes
\n
Any sales tax that applies to your order is calculated at checkout from your shipping address and shown before you pay. Orders shipped from the USA to Canada, Australia or New Zealand may also be subject to import duties or taxes collected by your country’s carrier or customs authority on delivery; those are not charged by Tee Willow at checkout. Our Shipping & Delivery page explains this in more detail.
\n
11. Discount codes and store credit
\n
If you have a valid discount code, enter it in the coupon field on the cart or checkout page and the total updates before you pay. Store credit from a return is issued as a code that you enter in the same field. Discount codes have no cash value and cannot be applied after an order has been placed. See our Terms of Service for promotion terms.
\n
12. Paying for gifts and group orders
\n
When you buy for someone else, pay with your own payment method and enter the recipient’s address as the shipping address. The person who pays is our customer for the order, so refunds go back to that payment method unless the buyer asks for store credit to be passed to the recipient. For a family or group order, one person pays for the whole order; we cannot split a single order across several cards, but family members can of course place separate orders to the same address.
\n
13. Refunds to your payment method
\n
Approved refunds go back to the payment method used for the order within 7 days of approval. If that card has since expired or been replaced, the refund usually follows to the new card automatically through your bank; if it does not, your bank can tell you where the credit was applied. Our Refund Policy explains timing and amounts.
\n
14. A quick checkout walkthrough
\n
\n
What happens at each step of paying for a Tee Willow order
\n
\n
\n
Step
\n
What you do
\n
What happens behind the scenes
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
1. Keep your details safe
\n
We will never ask for your card number, security code, banking password or one-time code by email, chat, text message or phone. Never type payment details into a support ticket or an email to us; if you do by mistake, tell us and we delete the message. If anyone contacts you claiming to be Tee Willow and asks for payment details, it is not us. Forward the message to support@teewillow.com so we can warn other customers.
\n
16. Questions about a payment
\n
Email support@teewillow.com with your order number and we reply within 1 business day.
